Spirals exist in biological organisms in various scales, as the shape behaves in simple and economical way, and are highly adaptive to growth. By implementing characteristics of such form, the proposed terminal provides a unified yet diverse, flexible, and interactive transient space: supporting optimal marina layout and its future expansion.

The proposed ferry terminal is directly connected to the Subway Line 5 via a pedestrian bridge; hovering above the Multi Plaza. This continuous pedestrian passage offers pragmatic, yet dramatic approach from the riverside to the marina facilities.

Excess rainwater falling on the roof find its way into a spiraling funnel located at the core of the building, to a collection tank for future use. The terminal is equipped with a hydronic heating and cooling system which takes advantage of the constant temperature of the river water.

A continuous strip of LED light coils around central column. This embodies a centripetal force that attracts passengers into the terminal.

Some of the piles are extended and become supports for Photo-Voltaic Canopies & solar-powered flood lights. The passengers are able to charge their cellphone and other appliances at charging stations located underneath the canopies. A Modular Floating Planter System is affixed to the piles, offering linear landscape along the pier deck, attracting wildlife and encourage biodiversity.
